Privacy

Limited information, clear purpose.

Reading data

The online reader stores bookmarks, notes, chosen theme and reading position in the browser by default. If a reader chooses account synchronisation, that research data is stored in the reader’s own account so it can be restored on another device. It is not public.

Public counters

Where the server-side metrics service is configured, the site records one counter event per metric, visitor and day: website view, successful reader opening, PDF request or APK request. Obvious automated crawlers and preview agents are ignored. The system uses a browser session identifier and a connection value only to generate a one-way daily record; it does not store the raw IP address, browsing history or the contents of reader notes. A download request does not prove a complete file save.

Contact

Information submitted through an email link or other contact method is used to respond to that communication. Contact details are shown only on the contact page where needed for a genuine publication enquiry.

Controls

Reader data can be exported or removed from the reader panel. For an account-synchronised library, contact the editor to request account-data deletion.
